I am wanting to go to the movie Step Brothers tonight and was wondering what everyone thought of it and is it appropriate for a 13 year old?

The language is not appropriate for adults, nonetheless, kids. but it's HILARIOUS. Dumb as heck, but HILARIOUS

I cannot find words for this so I will simply make one up...scrumtralescent. It would've been appropriate for me when I was 13...someother kids at 13, maybe not.

Great move but I would not take a 13 year old to see it. Some pretty direct language/visuals.

It's rated R, for whatever that's worth. My 14 yr old won't be seeing it.

Well I'm looking forward to it after all your comments! Thanks everyone and yeah didn't realize the f-bomb and language was so bad!

I am a big Will F fan and pretty much love all his movies (leaving out stranger than fiction) so I'm sure I won't go wrong with this one!

I actually didn't think that much of it. There were some pretty hilarious parts, but by and large, it was pretty dumb. And the kicker is that I love dumb movies. And I love both Will and John C. But, I never really liked Talledega Nights that much either. Maybe the two of them together is just too much for me? I have learned, though, that I have to see some Will Ferrell movies a second time to decide if I really like it. I'm sure I will see this one again.

Either way, probably a little too vulgar for a 13 y/o. Of course, all of the vulgarity is what makes it funny in the first place...

That's been in the works since the first one came out. Still nothing to show for it.

I'm heading to See Step Brothers tonight at 8:45, so I'll give my thoughts when I return.

I'm glad to hear everyone likes it. I thought it looked pretty good, but the trailer during Dark Knight made me a little nervous that it was one of those movies where you see all the funny parts during the trailer, and then they're not nearly as good during the actual movie. I will make plans to see it sometime...

I heard on the radio when they were interviewing John C, that they still haven't started production on it. And that it would be a couple more years until it will be released. I think my roomies and I are heading to Step Brothers tmw afternoon, let me know what you think of it tonight.
