I cannot understand anyone who doesn't choose the bowl game. If nothing else, the bowl gets us money and extra practices, which we need.

I deliberately made the options sort of lose-lose.

You have to choose "big wins" vs. "positive marginality."

I guess that should've been the poll :wink:

I couldn't really include "other" with this one, either.

Bowl game. My predictions have us losing to those 3 teams anyway, and a bowl game would be huge for this team given the schedule

I chose beat NU and Iowa. Winning those two games in the same season would be like winning a bowl game to me.

The only real answer here is option 3. Losing to Texas, NU and Iowa and making a bowl means that we potentially beat Utah, OU, and Tech which would all be huge victories for our program given the level of success of those 3.

This is a no-brainer;

Just like last year, a bowl, any bowl = more practice time / more recruiting exposure.

Beating Nebraska and Iowa in the same year (especially when they are both ranked) is better exposure than a lower tier bowl. Plus, beating them is more fun than beating any opponent we would play in a lower tier bowl.

Easy choice.

Bowl game, and it's not close.

The extra practice and exposure during Bowl season in incredibly valuable, not to mention it guarantees that we finished at least 6-6.
