Why I hate Winter

Very true. I'd bet they factor them in by not factoring them. Assume motorcycles aren't out in the winter. Assume any summer motorcycle accidents on the interstate the motorcycle rider is in a bad spot anyway. In general I don't think many people worry about motorcycles and they end up having to look out for themselves.

That what makes these cables very scary to me. I can't count the number of times I've had to go into the shoulder because someone changing lanes doesn't realize I am there, which is disturbing considering I ride a loud Harley. I guarantee they can hear it when they are that close, makes me wonder if they care, or are paying any attention.
