Saw this mentioned earlier in another thread and thought that it might be worthy of a thread of its own.

The stuff was simply amazing. It was the original take and bake pizza. It was sold on tinfoil pans at hyvee and a few other grocery chains (circa 1990's). Some stores also had little cubicles where it was baked and sold by the slice on little turntables. No other pizza has ever matched its flavor and I miss the hell out of it.

We'd get that frequently and for fund raisers buy Party Time (if that sounds right?)

Heck yeah I remember eating a lot of Moose Bros pizza when I was a kid. That was excellent.

I have no memory of this. Apparently we were filling up with that sweet Ampride pizza.

I remember a kiosk going up in the Hy-Vee I worked at in college. That kiosk baked and had the turn-table. It was a good change from Hy-Vee deli food for break. I don’t think it lasted long in our store.

I thought it was just a Hy-Vee thing.

I used to make it when I worked at Hy-Vee in high school.

We kept the ingredients in big white tubs on a cart in the milk cooler.

It was there when I worked as a carry out boy/ cashier at hy vee. I ate it quite a few times on break, but by the end the smell of them baking it just made me tired of it. It would be interesting to try it again almost 30 years later.

Yeah moose brothers was great. Our Hy-Vee had slices to go. Got that and a bottle of mello yellow before basketball practice I think.
