Who do I contact for...

Next September (2009), my church is hosting an IA Ladies retreat. The theme is: Peace Making. The leaders would like to use ISU vs IA as a background theme to the event. (Kinda along the lines of 'A house divided').

I am not sure where to start asking questions and if/what we would need to ask permission for.

We were thinking of using at least the names for post cards/flyers and ask if the schools would be willing to donate small items like pens, poms, hairties....

Where do I start?

Even if you're just using the schools' names (to say nothing of logos or other references), run it by them. They're stern, but generally very helpful. I'm assuming there will be money involved with this conference (registration fee or something) so if you don't have them help you, your church could wind up in some very hot water with the university if they find out something they don't like.
