I just got "bitly'd" when I jumped on CF. I don't even know what bitly is, even after google, but thought I should bring it up. Didn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy.

bit dot ly is a URL shortener. Care to explain what "Getting bitly'd" is?

I just made it up...the term "bitly'd" that is. Wasn't sure what else to call it. I received a pop up, which never happens...I only access on my phone, but not sure if that makes a difference.

Anyway...just didn't know what else to call it.

I just got it for the first time right now also. My phone told me not to go there.
