The rough non conference schedule is over. Big12 conference plays at Oklahoma State.

OSU is 10-1, with only Power 4 team faced is Arkansas. Their only loss is versus Richmond at a tournament.

Top scorer for OSU is Micah Gray, averaging 16.i points per game.

Their only loss interesting match up will be Audi vs the 6’6” Center transfer from Rhode Island, Tenin Magassa.

Last year, the Twister Sisters opened at OSU and won 76-68 with Audi getting 20.

After Sunday 8 teams in the Big 12 will be 1 - 0 and 8 will be 0 - 1. At least 5 of the match ups are extremely interesting. The ISU - OSU, BU - KU, & WV - CO pairings are the three most exciting to me. Not only are they interesting but also very important as to who starts off sitting in the drivers seat. For a WBB enthusiast it will be nice to get to watch ISU - OSU on ESPN at 4 while at the same time viewing the KU - BU game on the laptop. Just like going to the two ring circus.

Little side story for today's game. OSU coach Jacie Hoyt is likely not coaching today. She will probably still be out on maternity leave but hopes to make the game if not on the sidelines. They have a 10 day break after this with no games so the timing isn't bad but I am not sure how she will manage the travel although charter flights will help. Still, going to be a challenging season with a newborn even in the best of situations.

Given all of this I'll 100% give them a pass on an easy home based schedule.

I foresee trouble in Stillwater. We don't defend the three well. In our last game, UCONN, which has been excellent for 30+ years, set their program record for 3 Point Baskets made in a game. That's amazing - this isn't even one of the better UCONN teams of the past 25 years, and they set a shooting record against us.

Oklahoma State is athletic and they shoot the ball well. I know they haven't played anybody, but we don't guard anybody so what's the difference!?!

Of course Audi will have a monster game, so I'll predict a 81-80 ISU victory, solely because I'm a homer. My gut tells me otherwise.
