Walking Dead

Oh boy, I was waiting for this to drop, obviously it is not his...

Will there be any way to tell? It could be either of them depending on how its written (if she's as far along as since rick first got back to her, any farther and obv its not his). Rick could assume its his, but Shane's reaction, knowing it could be his, will be interesting.

MustangCy, you should probably edit that. It's not nearly enough space for a spoiler warning. The eye will already have wandered to the next line before it even realizes what it's reading. I don't personally care, and I kind of figured that, but some people might get pretty upset about having that right there. Maybe have people private message you if they want to know.

Agreed, i saw it without trying. Not a big deal to me as there are still a lot of ways the writers can go with that.

Heck, it'd probably take a mod to clean up all the spoilers at this point. Again, I don't personally care. Heck, I oftern find out how a movie ends before I even see it and still can enjoy it, but out of courtesy to others...

Back on topic, I thought this episode was incredibly intense. Probably moreso than any other episode. My fingernails are chewed down to the quick after this episode.

Dr. Jenner: "Those doors are designed to withstand a rocket launcher"
Daryl: "Your head aint!"

Also, still gonna be interesting to see when\how Merle ends up back in the picture..

We really have to wait until Oct 31, 2011?

I know the show is great becaue I glance at the clock, it said 9:54 and thought there is so much more I need to see!

Love that they reintroduced the grenade into this episode... i remember thinking in the episode where he got it that he'd have to end up using that episode and he didnt, and i forgot about it.

Ok, sorry I should have put the spoiler further down..I did now...that is just off some random post from the facebook WD page so I have no real way of knowing if it is true other that I'd bet it is. Anyway, great show but waiting close to 11 months for it return is going to suck hard.

If you want you can go to the wiki site of the comic and it has a bunch of the plot laid out. No way of knowing if the tv show will use it but let's just say if they do that show will be very interesting. The comic is a lot more out there.

This is kind of a depressing episode, so far.

Isn't a depressing zombie show actually good though? I'd describe the best ones as depressing in a cool way. If the depressing parts have nothing to do with zombie apocalypse then that does suck.

Haven't watched it yet, probably tomorrow night.

Has anybody on here read through the comics? I'm thinking about checking it out, but part of me doesn't want to know what is coming in the show. Although it would also be cool to read through the comic story line and then see where the show changes things up.

I can't remember which episode I was talking about when I posted that... Either the last one, or the one before that.

I thought this was a new thread since it was at the top of the board on sunday night.

It is weird though, I want depressing zombie action... not depressing human drama or I'd watch network tv. haha

Oh, it was last weeks episode I was referring to.
I wasn't referring to depressing human drama, but more of just the fact that a couple of the good people died.

Does anyone know how old they are? Back in 2007 I had an employee that was reading a comic book about zombies and he kept trying to get me to read them, but I just figured he was a young kid reading a stupid comic book. If it's the same series, I'm kind of kicking myself for not reading them.

IDW has several "30 Days of Night" series. It was probably that or The Walking Dead.

I read a lot of comics but haven't read either series. I think The Walking Dead is more well received. I always recommend "Y: The Last Man" from DC/Vertigo to people, not zombies but still end-of-the-world-epidemic drama.

It's a monthly comic that began in 2003. So I'm guessing that it probably is what your employee was reading. For those that are interested in reading through the series you can buy the Walking Dead Compendium One on Amazon for $36. It's the first 48 issues in one massively bound book.

That's pretty awesome, I may pick it up. I love huge books like that. I read through the Bone One Volume book a few years ago never having read a single issue before.

I give the series a C for the first year.

Moments of greatness filled between by tired cliches/bad acting.
I feel it deserves much better than just a C.

In regards to the spoiler a couple of pages back, fortunately for me that was my first thought when he whispered in Rick's ear.
