I will be in Vegas Sunday. Where is the best sports book to watch the NFL games. I am staying at the Excalibur so somewhere on that end preferably.

ESPN zone was pretty packed for NFL games. We watched some at the sports book in Planet Hollywood which wasn't too bad.

I liked Mandalay Bay, MGM, Ceasars. I forget about the sportsbook, but ESPNzone is wayyy too crowded for football games. Especially pro when all the crack-head Raider fans come out of the wood work.

The MGM is great, and it's an easy walk across the diagonal intersection from Excalibur. Lot's of TV's. Take the crosswalk over from NYNY, and down the escalator to your left - drops you right there.

It's great if you are by yourself. There are a ton of "solo" seats you can grab, and you can usually ask a guy next/near to you to watch your seat if you need to go grab a beer at the bar right behind you.

Have fun.

We went to E$PNzone late Sunday night for dinner after all the games were over and the crowds had left. Problem was, the crowds had already eaten all their steak and chicken, so all they had left were like 5 menu items. What little food they had was ok, but way way overpriced. I definitely can't imagine waiting in line to cram in there on a Sunday afternoon, and honestly can't see myself ever going there again.

In my opinion, most sports books are not good places to just go "sit and watch" a game. There is a pretty good mexican place/cantina at NYNY that has really good food and plenty of tv's tuned to sports, I've spent a couple Saturday afternoons there watching college games. It's right next to E$PNZone.
