1) Has the NCAA handed down the same, or any, decision on the Wash St. player? I'm to lazy/busy to go looking (lazy)

2) I would think that ISU had to know earlier than this morning, wouldn't they? Wouldn't they have had to know at least yesterday? Hoping against hope - is Lucca at the game last night a good sign? Reach? Yes - but I got nothing else to hold onto for his situation.

GMAC said he found out this morning and had to tell Lucca after practice this morning.

The bad news is Lucca is stuck in Ames while his teammates are on a plane to Oregon. Talking about a sinking feeling without the support of your team and coaches after finding out you can't play this year.

Any HOT coeds want to make sure Lucca feels better this week? We need something to keep him in Ames instead of going back to Germany to play pro ball.

Are you freaking kidding me? We found out about 8:30. The NCAA didn't even have the decency to give ISU, the team or the player a little heads up? Or did they fax something about 8:00.

Why am I not surprised? :arghh:

Considering they sent a reply message that was later recalled by another reply message. I wouldn't be surprised if JP and the gang found out from us through the web links as opposed to what your think (some professional advanced informing of the decision)!

Don't worry, well some people may consider the NCAA to be a crooked organization that doesn't care about anything but money...at least they are making a THIRD basketball tournament for teams not good enough to make the NIT...and I'm sure they will come up with some news bowls for us to watch too, so there is more room for 6-6 teams with losing conference records to duke it out in front of a national audience!!!

There's a difference, though - we're not looking to land stud recruits with the hot co-eds. Lucca's already here - we're looking to keep him here with the hot co-eds. I don't believe there are any NCAA rules about keeping athletes with hot co-eds; just trying to land them thru the recruiting process. Otherwise, virtually every school in Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Arizona, and California would always be ineligible...

No offense but those schools are allowed to break the rules. We are not.

I miss working a mile from the ASU campus!!

Lunch breaks were quite scenic. As were the views of the Hooters balcony from the Owl's Nest above. Anyone from Tempe probably knows what I'm talking about there!!

If I was a police officer in Myles Brand's home town I would hound him like a hawk...I'd just love to see the guy get prosecuted to the full extent of the law for going 26mph in a 25, j-walking, or making too wide of a left turn...it certainly wouldn't surprise me if I heard the Myles Brand was responsible for sentencing that Georgia 17 year old boy to two years in prison for receiving consensual oral sex from a 15 year old girl. This guy is above the law, and is on a rediculous power trip. He needs to be stopped!

Nothing on WSU's athletic site.

Have they not handed down judgement on him yet?

And that is one of many reasons why you sir are not a peace officer...
