I learned my lesson last year. Like most people here (I think), I projected a top 20 finish, not a top 10. But I was wrong even then.
This year, I'm taking a more wait and see approach. I think the Sisters have a lot of potential and could make a lot of noise. We know what Crooks and Brown can do but we don't know how AJ, A. Williams, Wilson, Tanke and Harris will progress over the summer and during the non-con. We really don't know how Jada will fit in. If she can provide floor leadership and 10-15 points a game, without taking away from Crooks and Brown, that would be huge. I've got a very good feeling about Hare, but I also know that coming back from a major injury and surgery can be challenging - but she has already shown she is super tough. Beaty and Jensen are unknowns and probably looked upon for bigger contributions down the road, but Jensen has shown she knows how the find the basket.
Lots of unknowns, but what I like about this team is there is lots of potential for exciting ball this season. All it takes is for one or two players to step up and find their mojo and this version of the sisters could scare a lot of teams.
And of course, Bill may not be done in the portal. Go Clones!!
