Maryland is really young, and probably set the record for the most airballs in a game. Maryland post foul trouble really let Gufstason go on a tear in the 2nd half. Was a very ugly game. Iowas guards hit 3s at critical points.
That's a pretty myopic take since Maryland is a Top 10 team.
Coaches and AP writers polls mean squat and with no impact seeding, why waste time on them?

And before we lost to CU. They are probably still a #3 and we are likely a bubble #4 with an attendance card to play which is still worth a lot.
ISU's loss to TCU (on road to rpi 34) was not as damaging as one may think, yet. Our wins over Miami and Drake will serve us well. Committee looks at RPI hard, or at least in the past has.
If ever there was a "must win" for ISU, it is @OU. That would be a very bad loss.
Maryland is a bit of an enigma to me as their schedule hasn't been the toughest, and their best win over SC was when SC was playing bad.

Oh yes we were having 80 degree weather and we kept hearing about the big blizzards. I was out riding my Spirit lake Indian during that time. A few farmers got heir planters out and oiled em up, thinking about starting a little earlier than normal. Usually plant corn around here between 24th of Feb.and 10th of March.
