Clint Eastwood has directed some absolutely fantastic films in his career. But I personally don't think he's done anything very good in a decade. There have been GOOD ones since then but nothing that is a real quality Best Picture type film. This looks pretty dang good though with a great cast.

I moved to Savannah last year right before they started filming in town. Really excited for this one. Trailer alone was riveting.

I read an article that said it had a small theatrical release on Nov. 1 in 50 theaters and that it will begin streaming on MAX on December 20th.

Seems pretty good to me.

You know how rotten tomatoes works right? Highly suggest no one uses that as a barometer. Just my opinion.

That being said it’s averaging a 73 on metacritic which is also pretty good. There are tons of movies with high scores I don’t agree with. Everyone has their opinion. But will say in our theater which maybe had 20 people everyone was laughing at parts that weren’t funny. The writing is just seriously so bad and the cliches are too many. Hard pass.

Reallly wish I wouldn't have watched that trailer in case I end up watching the movie. I hate it how movies do that more and more and reveal a major or THEE major hook in a trailer.

Its central dilemma reminded me of the quiet turmoil boiling under Dana Andrews in Preminger Noir of your choice (for me- Where The Sidewalk Ends) and it wrestles with it supported by a well-paced structure and well pondered twists. Why was this not released wide in the states?
