This years team kind of reminds me of Fizer's sophomore year. He put up great numbers but his suppoting cast was inconsistent. The next year, they brought in Tinsley and some other players while the returning players got a year older and better. Next year, with the arrival of Gilstrap and Colvin, who should provide immidiate help, we could be much improved. Im not expecting an elite 8 apperance next year, but with new guys coming in and the improvement of our current players, we could really surprise some people..................................that is if Brackins stays:smile:

Let's face it ... you have to be a die-hard Cylone fan --- there really isn't any other kind.

According to www.nbadraft.net, Brackins isn't projected to be selected. That could obviously change if he starts averaging 40 points a game. However, at this point it's a matter of whether he wants to play for ISU or the Iowa Energy.

Really? I see two as best case scenario.

Really, 5 wins is the best case scenario. Two wins is probably the most likely, but I believe the team has performed well enough since the Houston game to put reasonable odds on three wins.

I find it amusing that some of you think you're "owed greatness" just for being cyclone fans. Our players and coaches don't owe us anything for being fans except a little gratitude for the support they receive which they already acknowledge day in and day out.

Being a cyclone fan is your choice to make and if you can't be a fan without having an attitude of "We better start seeing some results and be Big XII champs very soon or else!," then I feel sorry for you.

If anything, YOU (as a true cyclone fan) owe the coaches and student athletes SOME RESPECT for busting their butts day in and day while you sit in front of your computer analyzing & criticizing their every move.

I'm very proud of the players, coaches and administration we have representing our school right now and as long as they keep working hard and doing things the "right way" - without selling out ISU's core values (integrity, acedemics & hard work) then I OWE THEM MY UPMOST RESPECT & SUPPORT B/C THEY ARE MY TEAM! PERIOD.
