We wouldn't even have a Big 12 conference right now if we didn't stay at 10. Texas and Oklahoma wanted 10, they didn't want to have the potential of getting tripped up in a conference championship game, they wanted the money divided 10 ways and it was all designed before a College Football Playoff. Iowa State and most of the rest of the conference were more than willing to do just that to keep the conference together.

This really doesn't effect the Big XII at all because Texas wasn't involved.

That being said we all know in the end they found to what they wanted to. The committee chair saying it was about what OSU did and not about what TCU didn't proves it's bogus because FSU did nothing to warrant passing TCU.

Not with the top 3 teams having the names that they have this year. Baylor, TCU, or KSU all get jobbed in this progress. Just not the brands that anyone is looking for.
