The Final Season - The Movie

Sounds like "The Final Season" premiered last night in NYC, haven't heard any reviews but was thinking it would be pretty cool if the movie created the buz that "Field of Dreams" did. "Field of Dreams", released in 1989 made itself a cultural reference point that still exists today. I take good ol' Iowa pride in that.

I'm really pumped about it as well, as I was an extra in the movie as well. I saw myself at least once in the trailer, as were sitting directly behind Larry Miller for one of the scenes where he talks.

I too was an extra in the movie, I made it onto the field with as a member of the West Union Dawgs (I was really turned off that they actually put DAWGS on our hats), I am number 17 if any of you get to see the movie and I make it in.

haha yea I saw a lot of the movie being made as I was at the register of the souvenir store at Veteran Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids, so pretty much all the state tournament scenes, so I can think while watching, hey if they pan up a little and look through that glass, there I am, haha, so I'm close enough, I can dig it! I saw the Kennedy team in the previews, the guy that is supposed to be portraying the former coach and one of my favorite teachers of all time, I sort of cracked up, haha, they couldn't quite catch all the essence of Bill Herkelman, lol!
