I'll be going to the midnight show tonight! Tomorrow will suck but it will be worth it. Anyone else going to nerd out this evening? I hear some theaters are even offering 3:00 am and 6:00 am showtimes.

This has been a good week. First NCAA 09 and now Batman!

Ames theater will definitely have midnight showings. I went to many a midnight show there, and my best friend in Ames is going to see TDK tonight up there.

I hear Heath Ledger was so good in this movie, it was scary.

Definitely no midnight showing, but this movie will probably be the first I'll see in a theater in over 2 years, so that says something.

I've heard it's awesome in IMAX, but a bit disconcerting, because only some scenes are in IMAX format and it switches between that and widescreen.

I'm trying to get friends to go see it at the IMAX on Saturday night. The Friday midnight showing is sold out, and the only other ones left are in the middle of the afternoon. (I'm not going to see The Dark Knight when it's broad daylight outside...) Problem is the $11.25 ticket price. Wow.

WOW!!!! I was kinda going in assuming that the hype about Ledger's performance was being blown out of proportion and giving an actor a respectful last review, but holy cow that was amazing. After Jack I didn't think I'd be able to appreciate someone else in the joker roll but Ledger reinvented it an entirely different and amazing way. That may be my favorite villain performance of all time! :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

Ledger did great! One of the best movies i've seen in a long time! A little long to go see at a 12:01 am showtime but it was worth it...
