I would like to personally thank all of you who need moderating. Without you, my life is barren and meaningless. It would force me to actually work during the day and no one wants that.

The only way to become a mod is to save the life of an existing mod.

For example, LindenCy pushed coachdags out of the way of a CyRide bus at a crosswalk.

Bos used special skills acquired over a very long career to track down and rescue Angie from a European kidnapping ring.

I performed the Heimlich maneuver on Keep when he tried to prove that he could fit an entire zucchini in his mouth.

Apparently lying is a critical moderating skill...

Hmm - I don't think so? We've had some people step down, and others who weren't good fits, or any other number of situations, but I don't think anyone has been banned. I think you stepped down when we re-upped about... seven years ago, right?

So nepotism is the key?

Not anymore, but it definitely helped when there were about 8 people on the site!

Seriously - I rarely notice the mods which, as is the same for good referees, is the best compliment I can give. I have no clue how much time and effort it takes, but whatever that is is well appreciated! Great job and carry on!
