Can someone confirm that the parking lots around Sun Devil Stadium won't be opening until 12 pm on game day......3 hrs before game time? If so, where is everyone planning on tailgating? We're staying at the Comfort Inn & Suites on Apache and may have to set up our stuff in their parking lot in order to get an early jump on getting our game face on. It's a pretty short walk from there to the stadium. Just curious as to what other's plans are. I am aware that there is an ISU sponsored event prior to game time too.

My wife and I will be holed up at Four Peaks Brewing Co. It's my favorite pregame location for any ASU game that I might attend. If you are into really good beer & fantastic bar food you should come check it out.

Just picked up my parking pass at the Fiesta Bowl Museum, and yes, can confirm that the lots don't open until noon on game day. Probably will be a lot of partying down on Mill Avenue, and would bet that at noon, a bunch of tailgates will be set up in the parking lots.

With the New Year's Eve Block Party that's starting at 5 pm, navigating Mill Ave and surrounding streets could be a little difficult before the game.

I agree. Would highly recommed either getting a parking pass ($20), or taking a cab. Depending on where you will be staying, the new light rail system would also be an option. Hey, it's still Tempe!! Will be a great time, but most likely cool during the later quarters of the game. It's supposed to get down in the upper 30s in this area for the next few evenings...has people complaining about the cold and all bundled up, while I'm walking around in shirtsleeves!!!
