That's nuts! One of my favorite activities to do while I'm teaching is to walk around the room and let off SBDs. So fun to watch the kids blame it on each other! Guess I'd better be sure not to get arrested for it.

That is so wrong, but I got a good laugh out of it.

I would have been 3-striked and out long ago. So would my kids for that matter.

Did anyone else notice the links to other arrests at the top, more notably the one about the woman's problem with her water bottle. That is just wrong!!

I think the best part is she claimed to know exactly what the water was contaminated with.

It sounds like they were trying to scare him into behaving.

Still seems a little over the top... whatever happened to in school punishments? Detention, suspension, etc?

Arresting a kid seems a little extreme

I would agree, but maybe they already tried the other methods and they didn't help. If I was the cop, I would of just detained him and then released him to his mother instead of actually arresting him. In doing so he would not have had an arrest record (of course, maybe he already has one), but he is a juvenile which means that that record will be sealed anyway.
