Way to support the team wxman1! Sounds like they ended the spring season with a bang. And as I stated earlier, this team will be on track with skill, experience and our support to go a very long way. Can't wait for next fall! Illinois recap: http://www.cyclones.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=10700&ATCLID=210049222

So the number of people that said "Yeah we will go" and didn't come was high. Ended up being only 3 adults and 1 baby. My son seemed to enjoy his first Cyclone sporting event though!

I was surprised by the turnout. Obviously it was not a big gym but it was mostly full and over half were Cyclone's I would say. I know of a couple of AAU type volleyball teams that were there watching as well. It is always great to get girls like that around the program. We had to duck out early but I would hope that both teams took time with them afterwards.

Local Mt. Vernon gal is on the Illinois team so I think they were expecting a big crowd.

They sure did have a good spring. I know it is without some of the incoming freshman (I think of it as 3/4 squads) and lots of experimenting with roles and rotation but they had a great record against some very decent competition. Great that our London gal was able to enroll and play.

Getting a little pumped up about the upcoming season.
