Oh, here is an interesting perspective. Other than venting, I believe the purpose of this thread is to get people to think; so think about this. I've heard police say that their job is so stressful because every time they pull someone over or confront someone, it is a potentially life-threatening situation for them. So they are edgy and if someone doesn't follow their instructions they react. OK, think about this: turn the tables. The next time a cop pulls you over ask them "what did I do"? If he doesn't respond to your satisfaction, repeat it ... "what did I do" this time with more emphasis and pull a gun and point it at his head. Repeat it one final time "what did I do" and if you don't like the answer then shoot the cop between the eyes.
Now, replace "what did I do" with "get out of the car" or "get down on the ground and put your hands behind your back". Yes, you are treating the police the same as they treat us, the public. We are all criminals who threaten them and if we don't comply with their request then we are subject to their wrath including tasering, beating, or being shot. What if we treated them the same way?
