Ankeny has next to nothing. Might be the flattest town in Iowa. People sled off of Delaware into a park just north of Magazine, but the Hill is seriously 20 feet high if that.

Also people seem to like sledding near my house just off 2nd Ave and Polk City Drive. There is a small hill there.

The best sledding is at the Ankeny Golf and Country Club. It's private but it doesn't really matter. They have a hill called Suicide Hill right by the clubhouse that is terrifying.

That's called trespassing brother.....

Since most of our hills include some form of green, or tee box, sledding is not really allowed. Although, we pretty much let the kids do it.

The hill at Otter (old range) is still there, but the city doesn't own it anymore. ISU uber doner, Denny Albaugh does.
