Hello,
I have family that would love to come to Ames next Fall for the game against ASU. Dates haven't been released yet but I'd like to bring my camper up and be in the RV lot from Friday to whenever Sunday. I don't know much about the RV lots. Could I get some questioned answered?

How much do single game passes go for?

How early can you arrive?

Is there a dump station there or a place to fill up with water?

I have a 25' camper, will I be able to keep my truck there or will I have to park it else where?

Thanks!

Passes are sold as season passes only to donors. For just one game you will need buy a pass on the secondary market. Price depends on supply and demand, usually determined by weather. Expect $500 early season down to nothing at the end of season.

You can arrive at 8am Friday and need to be out by noon Sunday.

Electric provided but no water or dump.

Yes there is room for your truck and trailer.

Thanks for that info! Hopefully the prices come down some for that game, haha. Where is the best place to look for those passes on the secondary market? On here or elsewhere?

At what point is it not a good idea to try and leave the lot and come back on a water, food or beer run? Like 5-6 hours before kick?

Trying to think of the closest camp ground to dump at between Ames and Ankeny...

Technically there are no in/out on Saturday before kickoff. Sometimes they don’t enforce it. For passes watch cyclone fanatic or the rv village facebook group

Forgot to mention the other option for RV parking in Ballard Parking (Haunted Forrest) No hookups and no concrete pad to park on. I am not familiar with any of their other policies.
