I like the style, I just can't justify parting with $800 to get something I'm probably never going to wear.

Just go somewhere (Amerigem) and have them design one you do like. It may even be cheaper (you dont need 18k gold, it can be a little soft anyway).
I don't have one, I can barely keep my wedding ring on (especially in scrip clubs). I wish Jostens did ISU because I think for a pretty reasonable price they will redo HS class rings into college.

I had an ISU ring, but some short little guys with hairy feet from the neighborhood stole it from me, something about throwing it into a volcano...Fredo?

I have one that is in the case with my degree. I didn't even buy it my parents did. I don't think I would ever wear it out on the town.
$800 is very steep...only paid $1000 for my platinum wedding ring.

I got one, superfan and 2 other guys I know got them as well. And I believe all of us wear them around.
I like it because I like the symbolism of what it means to me, and I don't mind showing everyone I went to ISU. It would be nice to have tradition.
