Now the real question is how do we decide?

Vote on all in question? What's the best way to do that???

... or should we just start over with a clean slate and debate each number???

My two cents would be that a player has to finish their career at ISU before they're considered.

After removing current cyclones, each should be brought up for a vote. Should it be buried in this thread or should you have a new poll thread for each?

I would say if we were to debate and vote on each number, it would require a separate thread for each. Or perhaps do like 5 at a time? Like 1-5, 6-10 ... although if we did each number individually, we could use the poll feature. However, some really don't require a vote ... like 28 ;)

I'm also not opposed to waiting for a player's career to be over before they can make the list.

Other thoughts???

We've got to have some better LB than the group listed.

Tim Dobbins, Jeremy Lloyd, Alvin Bowen....

Steve Lester deserves to be mentioned somewhere.

23 ... Leonard Johnson, Tom Watkins

97 ... Stephen Ruempolhamer, Rudy Ruffalo

Watkins wore #22.

Kevin Williams (CB, 1983-84) might be the best former #23.

As for #97, if Ruffolo is in the debate, how about his predecessor in that number -- Shane Dunlevy.

Karl Nelson and Keith Sims both wore #69.

Marcus Robertson was #11, with Eppie Barney, Ellis Hobbs and Alex Espinoza.

This could pass for one of those "one of these names doesn't belong" tests.

I like Ellis as much as anyone but no way he matches up to Robertson. In fact, I'd take
Eppie Barney next.

2 ... Ennis Haywood, Darren Davis

11 ... Ellis Hobbs, Marcus Robertson, Eppie Barney

15 ... Seneca Wallace, Reggie Hayward, Alvin Bowen

44 ... Barry Hill, Tim Dobbins

52 ... James Reed, Brent Curvey

Good stuff Mook (can't believe someone would spend so much time on this though....)

I cast my ballot for the contested items where I felt like I had credibility to make a selection.

I went with Curvey over read for the "big play" factor.

One player per number, no exceptions - you gotta choose! :twitcy:

Anyone else feel that Reed > Curvey???

Yes Reed>Curvey! Reed went on to play in the NFL. Curvey is with the Iowa Barnstormers.
Maybe U should reconsider more than 1 player per number since Seneca & Reggie played different sides of the ball!

The attractive female is no one I know. The photo of the previously mentioned, nicely-proportioned blonde has been combined with a photo of the Sprint Center and an ISU license plate to create a tremendous signature pic. I made it before the Big 12 Basketball Tournament was held at Sprint Center for the first time. I'm glad you like it. I did create more ISU themed photos with the same female that more prominently feature her assets, but they have been deemed inappropriate for this website.

Ask any player or coach have Ed Williams missed any practices, workouts, games and slacked in any conditioning, blocking or anything else. If you’re not a coach or player on those teams you can’t support your case. Watch film and Troy Davis will run to that side any day.
