Reverse jinx

ISU fans need to be less defensive. It just comes off like we're a bunch of crybabies.

"Yea but, yea but, yeah but, look at what you did." Stuff a sock in it.

who cares about what iowa football players do? every school in america has kids get into trouble. when we get beat by them on the field we throw out the "oh ya, well they have a bunch of thugs on theeir team that the coach lets play anyways". guess what gang-that argument doesn't mean anything to 90% of america. and then it makes us look like dumbasses when one of our own does something stupid.

+1000, even when Iowa State players get in trouble the first thing they point out is how many Iowa players get into trouble...

I will agree with this when a group of ISU players rape a girl in a ghost room on campus and our Athletic Dept attempts to cover it up. At that point I will agree and ask what the big deal is just like the hok fans did.

You're right. Don't get to stirred up over the grief you're getting.

I'm sure KF will dole out the proper punishment, if it's warranted

(depending on the record, schedule and depth chart).

I'm fine with the grief, but if KF really does it this way can you explain to me why he gave Prater a 2 game suspension and didn't change it to 1 game after JB got hurt in August (before any games were played) knowing ISU was week 2 and ISU was running a spread O and Iowa was down to their 3rd string CB on that side of the field?

Because Iowa players, staff, etc.... have absolutely no respect for ISU at all. That is why we love to beat you turds.

well...a pretty big football party got busted up last weekend. but pretty sure it ended with verbal warnings. so that's surely not the story.

A football party gets broken up and the only thing that happens is verbal warnings? I sure wish that happend around Iowa City once in a while.:skeptical:

So now it is no respect, KF does the right thing and doesn't shorten the suspension so his starting CB could play but instead showed no respect by keeping the suspension at 2 games and playing the 3rd string CB. Got it.

To quote....

You must have missed this part of my post :jimlad: you see I was joking.

I personally thought the  would be more obvious that the :jimlad:

For example:
(From an HN poster)

Northern Illinois toss up (open with a loss, sets the tone for the year)
Iowa (Big loss, blow out, further setting the tone)
At KSU -- Loss
UNI -- Narrow win (last few minutes, come from behind)
Texas Tech -- Loss (by four TD's)
Utah -- Loss
At Oklahoma (Blow out)
At Texas (Blow out -- clowns and fans down big time now)
Kansas -- Loss (Can't recover in time after big blowouts to OK/TX)
Nebraska -- Loss by Four TD's/ NE shuts them out at home
( Still reeling after loss to Kansas)
At Colorado -- Colorado having a good year, takes it to the Clowns
Missouri -- Clowns have thrown in the towel, Clown crowd sparse to see last loss

final record 1-11 Clown faithful shocked as Clowns end up in Big 12 basement once again...

I wish he would say "Clown" a little more.

Stay Classy, Iowa City
