Receiving corps ranked 7 by CFN

College Football News.com ranked the ISU receiving unit as the 7th best in the nation.

Iowa State[FONT=verdana, arial, sans serif][SIZE=-1] [/SIZE][/FONT] [SIZE=-1]With or without Jon Davis, this will be one of the Big 12's best receiving corps. Todd Blythe is a premier deep threat who's almost unstoppable around the goal line, while Austin Flynn has been fantastic making the switch from quarterback to receiver. Davis is the steady possession receiver in the group, but he tore his Achilles tendon this spring and is iffy for the start of the season. On the plus side, speedy R.J. Sumrall appears ready to fill in and add even more pop to the position. The tight ends have the potential to be excellent with Ben Berkema and Walter Nickel each fantastic receivers.

Speaking of Pukeye football, I just got done watching the mediacom local sports classic channel which is airing the 2005 season. Unfortunately I missed the EIU bloodbath against Big Brother ISU and the famed concussion induced tackle that the next Brett Favre put on his pass interceptor, BUT I watched the Ohio State thrashing and can't wait for the season to start so everybody can see how crappy their team is going to be this year. We'll show all the PUKES in sewer city that this IS THE CYCLONE STATE, SO YOU'D BETTER GET USED TO IT.

USC for obvious reasons. Jarret and Smith are STUDS. I love Todd and all, but these guys are very very good.
