A co-worker just stopped by my office and gave me her tickets for the game tomorrow night. So now I have two tickets for Sec 237, row 9, and one ticket for sec 239, row 9.

Any takers? PM me.

Pretty much where the seats I might be giving away are located at.

Going to be monitoring road condtions in the morning. Still hope to be road tripping unless it's just stupid bad.

I procrastinated way too much (and didn't pay attention to the expected length of the assignment) and I have until tomorrow night to finish this one, which is supposed to be 15 pages. I'm on page 6. Then I have another 5-8 page paper due Friday morning with a 15 minute presentation.

Guess it's time to get back to work...
Yeah, and at this point adrenaline might start to kick in and help you focus. That's what always really worked for my friends

woot, Woo! We'll have to say hi to each other :)

thanks for the info on the Fitbit, everyone. Good to know Target has them, will save me a stop.

Got gifts for the nieces and DH purchased. So Christmas shopping is pretty much done. Sweet.

good luck, cstrunk. DH seemed to write papers best when he had put it off until about 9 hours before the deadline. I liked to have a few days.

Oh it was me calling CyBer out. Yeah, I was just having fun with that. I don't even really care. I wasn't around to see what CyBer did so wrong in the first place. I pretty much agree with Carvers there. Not on the jsb thing. But on the CyBer thing.

Yeah! I'm not sure when we'll be getting there, but I'll need to say hi to you guys before the game/between games

Also, fun fact, jsb was also an original RTT poster. She posted pretty early in on it about having a crush on a guy that has football tickets next to her parents and being too afraid to act on that crush. Yes, I read through the first 1500 or so posts of that thread.....

CG, if you haven't picked up your fitbit yet they have several different models at Costco at pretty darn good prices. I have the Charge but not the HR. Also mine has the cheap double blade clasp, not the watch band clasp they now have. I'm pretty sure I will be getting the Charge HR for Mrs. Velo. Nobody tell her, okay?

the watch clasp thing was definitely appealing to me.

We do have a Costco close by but no membership.

I tried sending Sophie out this morning, she took three steps outside into the freezing rain and then hightailed it back inside.

Shared this a few years ago before you were on RT. Back when I co-owned a pair of basenji dogs with CWW#2 I invented an alternative air temperature scale. These African decent dogs didn’t really dig Minnesota winter and the regular temperature scales of Celsius and Fahrenheit seemed inadequate, hence the need for the Boxster Basenji Dogenheit scale. When it feels 15 to us it’s the equivalent of 0 degrees or lower Dogenheit.

Dogenheit may not be suitable for engineers since once you hit zero the scale is more artistic and intuitive than scientifically incremental. Zero degrees Fahrenheit can be anywhere from 10 below to 20 below Dogenheit. There is no with or without windchill, there is just “chill” and it is factored intuitively (see, just not a good match for engineers or tech geeks).

Adapt this for your own use if you like, I am keeping it open source without copyright.

As a homeowner I would suggest getting one. We have the Executive Membership and our cash back more than pays for our annual membership. If not interested, check with your friends. They may be willing to let you get one on their membership. You can check Costco.com to compare prices and see if it is worth the hassle.

CG, I'm echoing Velo on this one. Costco ftw.

Plus, you're going to be needing a pallet of diapers pretty soon anyway.
