Seen lots about the need for another PG. I have heard that Stinnet can play some point. I assume if Leuer, Stinnet and McFarland all wanted to commit, we would take them, then go for a true point in '08. Is that plan A?

I would assume thats the plan. Since we dont have a true PG in the '07 and probably wont then a PG should be on the top of the wish list for 08. I hope we can brign in a freshman True PG and someone with a little mre experience. thats probably not in teh cards because if we do have schollie losses we wouldnt want to use two of tehm on PGs but it would be nice to have someonewith some experience and another player that can be here for all four years.

EDIT: Sorry about the typos...im pressed for time.

Why, is he going to play PG for us? McIntosh should be fine but I don't have this blind optimism that alot of you seem to have. We will be lucky to be mediocre next year.

I think this quote was meant to say that as a whole in the future things are looking up. It had nothing to do with next year specifically. I think McDermott has done plenty to earn our "blind optimism".

I believe the plan is to bring in a true PG out of the '07 HS class. He could play a year behind McIntosh before taking over the starting role.
