Parking selection?

I've been bad about keeping my inbox cleared, but last check, we still haven't gotten the "you will pick parking on..." email. I'd bet that the ongoing Cy-Town construction has thrown a wrench in the usual flow of things? Anyone else getting nervous about the reduction of spaces in one of the last "the way tailgating used to be" seasons???

I believe the plan is to have everything except B5 open for this season.

There's not even a parking map posted on cyclones.com, which tells me they're going to wait longer than usual in an effort to make sure the lots they advertise as being open will actually be open.

I believe they said selection would happen in June. As a lowly States member, I'm selfishly hoping that Vet Med is an option again this year for donors but I'm not holding my breath.

We've been in the same lot for over a decade, used to be C4, I think got rebranded to C3 last year, combined with the old C3? Outside of the year or two where our longevity bumped us up to C5. When we were up for the spring game, our lot was torn up, after being redone (cheaply) ahead of last season. Here's to hoping C3-that-used-to-be-C4 is back in time for the season!

I'm trying to remember, will there be more spots this fall than last or will it be flat? Last year I was able to get B1 and I'm really hoping that will be the case again.

Not exactly sure.
Is this all there ever is going to be? Or is some of what’s being blocked off for cytown gonna become parking later?

B5 will be construction staging for McFarland's building. Once that's done, then B5 will re-open.

There's also going be to another small lot put in at Vet Med.

They told us June in an email a few weeks ago.

I am more concerned about the cost in future years. With the athletics department having to pay athletes they will need to come up with the money somehow. Would a raise in price on donation levels be on the table? I might have to drop down a level.

Honestly, we were on the fence of renewing this year and only ended up doing so because they called after the deadline to confirm I wanted to let my seats go and they caught me at a weak moment. It's unfortunate, but the new state of college athletics is probably going to price us out of tickets moving forward.

Last year mine was mid June. I'm going to be in Canada the first week of June with no internetbir phone access. Would it be wise for me to call the ticket office?

I moved to Victory this year so I’m eligible for reserved parking. In early May I received an email asking for my lot preference. That email indicated that if I didn’t get a reserved spot the selection email would go out in early June and selection would take place the last two weeks of June. A couple weeks later I received an email that I would get a reserved spot (S6) and would not need to select.

Email received this morning that selection times will be sent June 7. And if you want to increase your Cyclone Club donation you have until Tuesday the 4th.

Notice that the lots which ran parallel to Center Dr (along the south side of Center Dr) are no longer available. Hope this doesn't mean all those great grass tailgating spots are also gone. Also, it appears a new road has been built that runs from Center Dr to the NW section of A3.

I drove by there a couple weeks ago..... those parallel lots you speak of will still have some grass to back up to. It won't be quite as big, but there is still some room.
