What is woody's legit size? Any chance he bulks up and moves to a LB spot? I've seen him play quite a bit and think he has good potential. I say LB because that is where I think we need the most help. Well aside from the DL but he won't get that big.

I couldn't agree with you more. In fact, I'll go out on a limb and predict he'll receive the scholarship by his 2nd year. What he might lack in speed, he more than makes up for in toughness, determination, and character. He will find a way to help this team.

It's almost unheard of for a walk-on to receive a scholarship before year 3 because they would count against the annual 25 limit in years 1 or 2. Starting year 3, they only count against the 85 total.

I can confirm that Woody is being considered at LB.

I see that they lost to Scissors in the regular season but ended up beating Rock for the state championship.

I lived in WI for a couple years and that nickname is somewhat common. I ran across across a few schools who used it.

Not to hijack the thread, but driving through Texas last year I passed New Braunfels High School where the billboard out front read: "Congratulations Unicorn Baseball, state champs".

I immediately went to the nearest sporting goods store and bought a New Braunfels Unicorns t-shirt.

The race card has been waaaaay overplayed. Take a look at all sports, especially professional. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to SEE who's most represented. Saying so doesn't make you a racist. Good golly!!
