Lamar is a really bad team. Don't let their victory over a really bad Central Arkansas team, or playing a Indiana close for a bit fool you.

They basically have one player - senior Tyron de Lattibeaudierre (seriously) He's a Jamaican JUCO transfer who missed his entire Jr year because the NCAA sucks (read this) . He's a 6'6" post player who leads them in every statistical category excepts 3 point shots (he's attempted zero). Points (15.3), rebounds (7.3), assists (2.3), steals (2.3), turnovers (2.8), blocks (1.5), fouls (3.5). He plays 34+ minutes a game, no one else plays more than 24.

They have one big guy, 6'10" 240# LeMon Gregory, who plays ~15 mins per game and averages 5 points. There are two other scrub bigs that combine to play 5-7 minutes, but the other 20 minutes de Lattibeaudierre is the biggest guy on the floor.

Preston Mattingly is Don Mattingly's son. He's a 27-yo sophomore having played in the minors for a number of years.

Zjori Bosha, 6'5" freshman, shoots 33% from 3pt range and seems to be their long range specialist.

Anthony Holliday is a 6'1" sr who is the second leading scorer at just over 10.

That's about it. Not a good team. I think they will slow the game down as much as possible.

I think the guys come out focused and determined to put Maryland behind them:86-52.

Excited for the game tonight. It should be a great game to take small children to as well. They could fall asleep easily.

Lol wut? These kids can't play ymca league type stuff?

Anticipate a comfortable win. It should give the staff a good opportunity to try some line up combinations and work on some new plays. Looking forward to seeing Custer and GT some minutes to build on. Also looking for this game to be a good confidence builder for Nader playing at Hilton. You can see the flashes but just needs to get comfortable.

I've always hated Lamar. I heard they back Obama Care. They deserve what's coming to them.
