I completely agree. It certainly appears safe to say that we've got the ingredients for a good season. But for this to be a breakout season, Nader will need to make significant contributions. That applies whether he's off the bench or he works his way into the starting lineup. Admittedly he looked rusty last week in KC. With Arkansas just two days away, it sure would be nice to see a rust-free Nader tonight at Hilton.
Games in Hilton right? Ok, I know the outcome…. Giorgios gets 5 points and 3 boards in mop up duty late in the second half.
Well, if most are saying we're gonna win soundly... I hope to see the Greek throw down a few! (Like?)
The two guys I'll be watching closely this game are Abdel Nader and Daniel Edozie. We need Nader to develop into a contributor if we're going to contend with Kansas and Texas in the Big XII. Edozie has shown some bright spots so far, not so much in his post moves but in his ability to get rebounds and put-backs. Even with the addition of McKay in 18 days, we'll still be smaller than most teams in our league, so it's important that a guy like Edozie can come off the bench without us feeling like we're giving away points.

it always baffles me how schools that are somewhat large can be so bad at some sports. what makes one school with 30k students have a great bball program (ISU) and a school with 60k students (Central Florida) have a weak bball program.

Drove around the campus. Pretty laid back and under the radar. Sports does not appear to be number one with the beach sand nearby.
Student population is generally pretty far down on the list for high school athletes deciding which scholarship to accept. At least when it comes to the difference between 30k students and 60k students.
