The second coming of Jesus will happen after this game because he can't bear seeing any more bad football on his Earth.

I predict Richardson gets benched.

I could see this happening, especially if he looks as hurt as he was against Iowa. I almost hope Rohach does not do great just to avoid a jantz/barnnett predictiment for the next 3 years.

Irrigardless of who the QB is, if our offense goes more vertical allowing our WR's to do something and thereby hopefully streching out the Defense, and can acutally run i say we have a chance.

if we have a repeat of bubble screens for no yards, let the defense pack in and stop the run while blowing up our horizontal passing game, it looks like the bowl game last year, both lines being dominated and we lose 14-35. (this is unfortuantely the more likely in my opinion).

Last years defensive line couldn't stop Trey Watts. Cody Green isn't very good, but he brings two things to the table that Kollmorgen and Rudock did not. The first being that he can run. This gives them the threat of the read option, which is something this young defense will not be prepared for. The second that he has beaten ISU... twice. He knows how we operate and that experience will not be good for us.

It is a stretch to say that Green beat ISU in that 2010 Nebraska game if that is what you mean. He threw the ball 12 times and only completed 7 of them for 79 yards. They had so much confidence in him that they spent a good portion of the game with a tailback, Rex Burkhead playing quarterback.

EDIT: And before you say it was his running -- he rushed 9 times for 10 yards.

Yeah, Burkhead beat us that game

Down 24-7 at halftime, ISU storms back to score two late TDs to lose 24-21. Coach Mac calls to congratulate the staff on a hard fought 2nd half victory. ISU sets NCAA record by throwing bubble screens on 47 consecutive offensive plays.

Tulsa 28, ISU 10

I hope I never see Tre Watts or Shawn Jackson again, but our players will be seeing them in their nightmares until Texas brings the woodshed to town next week.

That can't be true. No way they get to 47 on the play count with all those 3 and outs.

You completely ignored the part of my post that already counters your argument but I guess I'll say it again. The reason they consistently are able to get at least 3 ypc is because of their offensive line. None of their running backs are touched until they get that far. I don't know if you've noticed but they have linemen go to the NFL every year and their season went to pot last year when 2 of their best lineman got hurt.

So actually if you read my post originally, the fact that everyone knew on every 3rd or 4th and short that he was gonna get the ball, and he got it every time, just shows why my post is correct.

Let me ask you this question, does UNI put offensive lineman in the NFL every year?

I ignored your post about Iowa's O-Line because that is not what we'll be facing in Tulsa. We'll be facing a slightly more talented UNI with their "ehh" offensive line and their stellar runningback.

Ill give you one thing, the D-Line has surprised me with the play of Morrisey and Irving. However, the rest of the line needs to step it up, and soon. Basically I'm talking to Coe.
