The second coming of Jesus will happen after this game because he can't bear seeing any more bad football on his Earth.
We are down at half 14 - 3, with 34 yards of total offense. Start to pass down the field in Q4, and win 24 - 10
I predict Richardson gets benched.
I think we actually win this game. It'll be a good game though.
ISU-24
Tulsa-21
Last years defensive line couldn't stop Trey Watts. Cody Green isn't very good, but he brings two things to the table that Kollmorgen and Rudock did not. The first being that he can run. This gives them the threat of the read option, which is something this young defense will not be prepared for. The second that he has beaten ISU... twice. He knows how we operate and that experience will not be good for us.
ISU - 38
Tulsa - 13
Tulsa just isn't very good this year. We aren't either, but we are less not very good.
It is a stretch to say that Green beat ISU in that 2010 Nebraska game if that is what you mean. He threw the ball 12 times and only completed 7 of them for 79 yards. They had so much confidence in him that they spent a good portion of the game with a tailback, Rex Burkhead playing quarterback.
EDIT: And before you say it was his running -- he rushed 9 times for 10 yards.
So our Defense is so good in the second half they take four points away from Tulsa?
Down 24-7 at halftime, ISU storms back to score two late TDs to lose 24-21. Coach Mac calls to congratulate the staff on a hard fought 2nd half victory. ISU sets NCAA record by throwing bubble screens on 47 consecutive offensive plays.
You completely ignored the part of my post that already counters your argument but I guess I'll say it again. The reason they consistently are able to get at least 3 ypc is because of their offensive line. None of their running backs are touched until they get that far. I don't know if you've noticed but they have linemen go to the NFL every year and their season went to pot last year when 2 of their best lineman got hurt.
So actually if you read my post originally, the fact that everyone knew on every 3rd or 4th and short that he was gonna get the ball, and he got it every time, just shows why my post is correct.
That can't be true. No way they get to 47 on the play count with all those 3 and outs.
