When my kids were little we'd bolt down to the basement after we put them to bed. I had a 4' ripper of plywood I'd wedge under the doorknob, to prevent unexpected interruptions.

One time in the middle of it all, we heard something, looked and there was a little hand clawing from under the door. Kind of ruined the mood.

All I can picture is the alien hand reaching under the door in the movie Signs.

I've been shot down twice in the past 2 months because I'm "too young"..

By 2 separate women..

Talk about a crock of *****!!!

We've been married for 10.5 years, and my wife wasn't able to have children. We accepted it, moved on, and now we're expecting one in September.

We didn't do any treatments or anything. Just went on living. If it's going to happen, don't worry, it'll happen!
Very nice Erik, for you and cyrev. Congrats!

Frankenstein never scared me, but marsupials do.

A Kevin Pollak as Chritopher Walken quote. That one makes me laugh every time.

Dang, then this probably wont have the effect I intended.

The thought of my parents sneaking around to have sex when I was little is disturbing, I guess that is what I get for wanting a little brother. I pretty much gave them permission.

I always personally regretted all the poop/pee/JO posts on previous Friday Confession threads.

I also think this is by far the least entertaining of any Friday Confession threads so far.

I really hope that's just a coincidence.

Like I mentioned before, I'm trying to drop a few pounds. I am considering buying an exercise bike. Then I can exercise right in front of the tv.

Here are the two reasons I decided to do this:
1. I am getting married this summer and don't want to look fat in my wedding photos that I'll have to look at for the rest of my life.
2. One of my buddies the same age as me (24) found out he has high cholesterol and needed to exercise more. It scared me into thinking the same.
3. Although people in my family tend to live long, there is a history of heart problems. Getting married is making me think about all this serious stuff. It sucks.

We have one we want to move.....

If you're serious at all about grad school, do it now don't wait. Dr harl kept trying to talk me into law school, but I felt burnt out. He said he would get me in, when I said I wasn't motivated for the LSAT. I like my job now, but regret not getting my law degree. Life is too busy to upset everything and go back to school now.

Ya I'm only 20 right now too which is another reason that it would probably be a good idea to go. I'd only go for a Masters, so it wouldn't be close to the benefit of law school, but also probably not as much time or effort as law school. I took the GRE and got like 88th and 70th percentile and well above the writing score needed. My GPA is teetering on the B- range though at ISU, but considering college classes I took before ISU it is right at a 3.0 avg. I have lots of experience in the lab and good letters of recommendation from that, but I'm just not sure it is worth the time and effort.
