Pretty sure you can get the radio on those things too, now. Like radio without commercials....:D

That may be the reason why I get an Ipod, but the gf gave me a brand new Walkman for V-Day. The redeeming quality that a Walkman has is its durability and the fact that nobody is going to steal it.

Hire a maid. It will be significantly cheaper.

Fantastic advice!

Why? So she can ***** at you to clean it?

Seriously, you will have a tough time finding a woman who will gladly clean up after you unless you call a maid service and pay them.

Sometimes you need a woman to ***** at you to clean it. Hard to get any motivation to do something if the only person it matters to is you.

This is definitely part of my problem. I don't really care that it's not clean. I don't have anyone to impress.

If you clean up the apartment, maybe you'll find one.

Another +1 for the hiring a maid option.

We've been married for 10.5 years, and my wife wasn't able to have children. We accepted it, moved on, and now we're expecting one in September.

We didn't do any treatments or anything. Just went on living. If it's going to happen, don't worry, it'll happen!

Awesome news. Congratulations.

Like I mentioned before, I'm trying to drop a few pounds. I am considering buying an exercise bike. Then I can exercise right in front of the tv.

Here are the two reasons I decided to do this:
1. I am getting married this summer and don't want to look fat in my wedding photos that I'll have to look at for the rest of my life.
2. One of my buddies the same age as me (24) found out he has high cholesterol and needed to exercise more. It scared me into thinking the same.
3. Although people in my family tend to live long, there is a history of heart problems. Getting married is making me think about all this serious stuff. It sucks.

50% of all yard sales will have a barely used one. Save money for the honeymoon.

If you like riding, might I suggest an actual bike and a trainer? That way when the weather gets nice, you can go enjoy it. That's my setup - in the winter and rainy days, I set the bike up on the trainer in front of the TV and spin away.

I would put that site in the NSFW category

Apologies, I thought the name "Facts and Chicks" made that fairly clear, but yes, it does deserve the NSFW tag for most people's workplaces.

1. I have been in the working world a little over a year and extremely dislike it. I think I have a problem with authority. The work itself is fine, but the fact that I have to drive 15 minutes everyday to do it, when I could (and have before) done the work at home.

I know some people are going to tell me to sack up, but I grew up in a house where my dad worked from home and ran his own business. I was cursed from childhood.

2. My fiance is hellbent on not living in CR when she graduates (Grad student at ISU, graduating in May) and has applied for 30+ jobs outside of Iowa. I am pretty excited about getting out of Iowa for a while, but honestly the only thing that would keep me here is watching the Clones.

Yeah, sack up. A 15 minute commute is nothing. IF you do move out of Iowa you will probably be looking at 40-60 minutes commute time.

Try to learn to live with the authority crap.

Like Drew Carey once said, "You hate your job? Well we have a club for that. We meet every afternoon at the bar."

Im prepared to get bashed for this. Someone posted earlier about hearing an N'Sync song earlier and knowing all the words. Reading that made me go on an N'Sync rampage on youtube. Those guys can sing.

This isn't really a confession, I just wanted to state that I am JACKED for the game tomorrow. Will be renewing my season tickets for years to come.

I've got the afternoon off, and all this daydreaming of strippers has me wondering what time the Lumberyard opens. Anyone know?
