Awesome Humbelbrag. Thats not what i was saying, I'm just saying that it isn't insane for someone to pick Colorado over ISU. People forget that there is allot more to committing to a program than football success.

Mandel and Staples from SI report that Gene will receive $7.5 million, subject to mitigation.

You can call it a full out brag. I'm pretty goddamned proud of my ISU degrees. Untwist your panties and recognize I was agreeing with you. Boulder is great and so are LA, Seattle, Tuscon, Tempe, Palo Alto, etc...but academics is one area we can compete in just fine with CU. Sadly, in aggregate, even with CU's ****ty football they do have allure.

I like how you pick Arizona and LA and leave out Washington and Oregon while naming the Big 12's worst destinations. The guy was from Texas so playing games in his home state would be in our favor and it's not like he's on vacation when he goes to Arizona and LA, he goes and plays then heads home.

Washington and Oregon are much more attractive visit destinations than LA or Arizona anyway, IMO. But yeah your point still stands. I'm not so sure that we still had active offers out to some of the players talked about in this thread anyway.

Really surprised at how far Boston College has fallen since Tom O'Brien left for NC State. Now O'Brien has been fired by NC State. I guess BC should have done everything it could to keep O'Brien. Here is BC's records with and after O'Brien
