We already tried to poach a Purdue commit, Randy Gregory. He went to Nebby instead--and to four stars.
Of course, there's the other kid who visited that weekend. A linebacker, even...
So, if I were in the Auburn AD I would offer a low level broadcast company to pay for an analyst salary for them to offer the Chiz an position. From the contract language, it would seem that if he were to turn it down he would void the contract by not holding up his end of the deal. If he accepts it, the there's really no disadvantage as the money you'd be funneling through the broadcast company would be taken off the amount you owe him.
Why do they write contracts like that... with no real out? How hard would it be to say if you finish with under x conference wins you're out with no bennies. I'm sure some coaches would take that.
Well, look at what happened at Maryland this year.
Think they started off something like 3-2 but lost 5 qbs resulting in a lb startling their last 3 or 4 games. Freak things like that would screw a coach over.
Good things about our record this year, is it wasn't good enough for CPR to be at the top of the list for every coaching search. Had we gone 8-4, I think he would be getting some attention.
the 208,333 per month thru 2015 can't be right. That total is roughly 2.5 mill per year which would mean Auburn owes Chiz 7.55 million. That is what the buyout would have been if Auburn waited till Dec 1. Because Auburn fired him before Dec 1 they owe him more like 9-10 mill as I understand it. So if you think $208,333 is nauseating the actual figure should really **** you off.
ISU vs. Colorado and we lost? I am disappointed I looked at that unless playing time was his major priority.

I think expected is way too strong of a word. There hasn't been a word about this in the KC media, and if he was going to resign it would be a huge story. I think this is still an internet rumor at this point, I'd be surprised if it happens.
Your joking right? Play and live in Boulder and get a CU degree, play games in LA and Arizona or Play and Live in Ames and play games in Manhatten and Waco?
My degrees from ISU blow the comparative ones from CU out of the water. CU carries no marked prestige above ISU. Pimp Boulder and the Pac all you want, they're both great but don't suggest CU is something special. It's not.
