Im guessing Boyd. Brewers are for sure throwing Peralta.Gotta start Rea tomorrow right?
Counsell probably starts ShotaGotta start Rea tomorrow right?
This was obviously sarcasm lolCounsell probably starts Shota
**** him. POSBoy, Pedro Martinez in the post game is certainly pro-Brewers. Like WTH, dude?
Hope scoring zero meaningful runs after the first inning doesn’t come back to bite us again…
Just being curious, I checked the boxscore for the six playoff games. The Cubs have scored in 9 innings so far. Yikes!
Yes. But I also think we are 3 months past due!So, you're saying we're due?
That’s just looking for **** to ***** about. Dude take a break we won.Just being curious, I checked the boxscore for the six playoff games. The Cubs have scored in 9 innings so far. Yikes!
It amazing on how good our pitching has been over the last few weeks, sans those 2 games in Milwaukee.Weird how the Cubs don't 'tip pitches' when the game isn't at their place....
Call me crazy (probably rightfully so) but if I am in Counsell's shoes I might go with Brown as an opener tonight in front of Boyd. We know he has the stuff. He pitched okay in mop up duty game one and in his short career he has absolutely dominated across 3 starts vs. the Brewers.
I think you'd have an exceptionally quick hook with Brown as you'll know immediately if he's on or not. You could potentially get through the lineup once with him and then turn it over to Boyd for a couple innings before handing off to the bullpen.
Doubt that's the plan, but could be an option.
Not surprising but now confirmed:
