NFL: ***Offical Week 1 NFL Gameday Thread***

Between what I saw with the Steelers and what I've seen so far with the Cyclones this year........................

HURRY UP MBB!

Don't know if it's been commented on in the rest of the thread, but having all (virtually) of the kick-offs go clear out of the endzone, is, chosing my words carefully here, stupid.

It's still slightly better than having no kickoffs at all.

has Denver won the Super Bowl yet?

That late hit call on TB on Geno Smith... was he not in bounds when the contact was made? Crappy way to lose that one.

2 problems with that play. Matthews was already in the air, what is he supposed to do? Also, how is that a PF on Staley? I didn't see anything.

How did Matthews not get the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after the play? He was grabbing Staley's facemask.

why not? Who else has a chance?

The 49ers look pretty good, you haven't seen what the Texans can do yet, the Seahawks have to get better on offense.

and yet, all 3 of those teams play astounding defense. If they get the offense going (which it looks like the 49ers have) then they can beat the Broncos on any given day.

Texans don't, they beat Denver last year but Denver was just starting the season.
Seahawks like you said have no offense.

Once Miller and Champ comes back it's all Denver.

Denver only losses I see are against the Giants, Patriots, and the Cowboys
