The NCAA Tournament Committee has decided to not expand the tournament at this time. I like this decision overall, even though I can se the upside to expanding, i think that it would just be worse for the NCAA in the longrun. I had a poll earlier and the general concensus among us was that they should either leave it the same or expand it by a small amount.

Its a big field yet you know, some teams are left out that could make a run. I think the winner from the previous NIT tournament should get that wild card slot, where theres 2 teams that play. Its always like Oakland Michigan or some team you've never heard of.

That extra spot is just because there is an extra conference and the champion has to make the tournament.

I dont know, half of all the teams get a spot in it. I still think they should include something from the NIT

I thought that maybe the champion of the NIT should have a game against the champion of the NCAA tournament. They both play about the same amount of games to be the champion.
