New Ad Thread

Starting a new thread hoping it will stand out and something will be done. These timed popups and redirects are getting out of control and are making the site completely unusable. Half of the redirects aren't even showing an ad, just a white screen. The only way to get rid of them is reloading the page. I've almost given up posting on threads because half way through typing the page has to be reloaded and the post is lost.

Agreed. I can’t read the forums for more than a few minutes at a time without this happening. Both on my PC and phone. Very frustrating.

I have the Advantage of Guarding the popups on my phone but not on my work desktop.

I pay for premium, for a bunch of reasons including simply supporting the site and the work they do, but obnoxious intrusive ads shouldn't be a thing either regardless of if someone is paying

yeah this is not going to work on literally anyone but I'll give you an A for effort....I'm not going to pay a subscription to find out news 24 hours after the premium content people.....I've got other bills to pay

Tried it for about a year and loved it but then my access to the premium forums stopped working even though I kept getting billed. Tried every way I could think of to resolve it but no response from anyone so I cancelled.

I respect everyone's choice for buying.. or not buying... a monthly service. There are lots of services out there wanting subscribers. You have to pick what is right for you.

This is fine, but making the free site such a miserable experience that users either have to pay or leave is not a sustainable business model in the long run.

I load the forum page and go to click on the thread I want to read and like magic, the page shifts and I click on an ad or the wrong thread. Rinse...Repeat...I am owed sooo many rewards...LOL

I signed off and then opened the site on my laptop with no problem. Using Chrome and AdBlockPlus.
