Scoreless first period. Jordan chooses down and gets up and out. Sorenson down 0-1 with 1:11 left in the second period.

No clue what happened, but it is 2-5 Jordan now with Jordan on top. :53 left

Well.. before we started I said that an injury would be the only excuse for Sorenson not to AA. I didn't expect him to take me up on it with an injury on the bike while warming up.

Sorenson loses 2-6, finishes one win short of AA.

Overall the team went 7-10 at nationals with two pins. Basically everyone went one win short of where I predicted before we started.

According to the Daily Goettl was hurt in his last match, that explains how it went from a decent match to a tech fall very quickly. Also that Gibson had to take two injury timeouts in his last match. It is rather disappointing that the Daily guy who was there didn't get any quotes. It would have been nice to get some insight since the AD doesn't appear to have sent anyone down.

Every one on this team was hurt this year. The coach has to be accountable to keep his wrestlers in the best possible condition to contend. No AA. Has this ever happened in the last 30 years? I have tried to defend Jackson, but this is one of the last straws.

I answered my own question. The last time this happened was 1962. 1962!!!!!! I am sorry I am beyond angry at this point.
