Having had both YouTube TV is better in my opinion. But they are both fine. Depends on of you want to give your money to google or disney.

Go here and sit down with your wife and see what channels you guys watch/need. Then it'll spit out what you need to subscribe to

We currently have Hulu, is Youtube better for sports than Hulu?
Your biggest issue will be having to sub to ESPN+ separately, and that content wont show inside YTTV, like it does on hulu.

Otherwise, I think they are fairly similar, each may have a few channels different than the other.

Hulu "may" have more on demand content, not sure?

But I wonder if YTTVs system overall is superior.

YTTV is great for getting the college football fix every weekend...I'm trying to decide on whether or not I'll go for it again. I'd guess the price has gone up.

I was thinking about switching just because (I think) you can DVR nfl Sunday ticket football games. You can still buy Sunday ticket without the tv package but you can’t DVR.

Does Hulu do quad screen? I love that YTTV feature.
No, but if you sub to NFL sunday ticket, that will still be through YTTV and it has the quad screen. I dont know what else is offered in quad screen on YTTV.

Yes.

We have both. Hulu is great for some wonderful stuff, like "Murders in the Building", "Shogun", and "Fargo".

But YouTube lets you record all kinds of stuff and watch later without having to sit through the ads (as you do on the cheap version of Hulu).

Get both. You won't be sad.

I prefer YTTV. Hulu also doesn't work with T Mobile home internet due to how it generates your IP address dynamically vs using a static one so its not an option anymore.

Thanks I just want to have all the sports channels I get with Hulu, and Jp4cy hulu doesnr have that. I would have to pay extra for ESPN plus with Youtube. Hell I might be paying extra for it now lol.

you pay for both? you are paying for 99% of the same channels.

Or do you have the standard HULU, not the HULU plus LiveTV? The the full YTTV pack?

Yup, paying for both, not paying for same channels.

Hulu carries the new seasons of "Futurama" and other series not shown on YouTube.

Only reason we chose Hulu is because YTTV doesn't have History Channel. That's easily 50% of what I watch. Neighbor has YTTV and I've watched games there, doesn't seem much different in terms of sports aside from the four-screen mentioned above.
