Clones21 you should stick to your flesh light message board.
KCCI had its B team in the studio tonight. One guy called Highway 20 'I-20' and then the other described the small town of Rockwell City as a 'pretty big place'. It was pretty comical.
I thought the first rule of the flesh light club was that you don't talk about the flesh light club. If not, it should be.
It's just mind boggling that people are so self centered that they care more about some stupid show rather than possibly saving somebody's life by keeping them up to date on an actual tornado.
Do you know how many different variables there are in weather conditions? This isn't making a cheeseburger.
Looks like they were on the money.
Back to the Weather, here is some great raw footage of the Tornado in NW Iowa yesterday.

Yeah, I'm bumping an old weather thread, don't want to start a new one.....
So, what happened early this morning? Woke up and looked at my phone, noticed that there were two tornado warnings that got sent to it, one at 3:13am and the other at 3:30am. I'm in Dallas County near Waukee, but I never heard any tornado sirens fire up. I remember waking up once around 3:20am or so and could hear the wind and rain against the bedroom window, but nothing was moving around on the deck (that's always my trigger to get up out of bed and see what's going on), so I didn't think there was anything major going on.

1. "Tornado" sirens are not designed to be heard inside. They would have to be insanely loud for that. Weather radio's are for this exact situation. You are asleep, busy or for whatever reason oblivious.
2. If you were indeed in the warning your phone should have gone off. Unless you have disabled that feature. In that case see #1.
The siren is about 4 houses away from me. I would have heard it. My phone sits downstairs at night, not in my bedroom. So, now that we have that out of the way....what happened?
