The siren is about 4 houses away from me. I would have heard it. My phone sits downstairs at night, not in my bedroom. So, now that we have that out of the way....what happened?

The tornado was radar indicated over Dallas Center, and the storm was moving straight north. The metro was never in the warned area.

Waukee wasn't in the warning. They stopped issuing county by county warnings.

What if this had hit your house or neighborhood. Do you have smoke detectors? Same concept.
