NFL: Moss waived by Vikings

Is anybody really surprised here? Randy has been unhappy with every team he has been with since he first got into the NFL. Once he is unhappy his effort absolutely tanks. He isn't that far removed from his days when he would run his route and if the ball was thrown just a little high we would just throw one arm up in the air as a half hearted effort to catch the ball.

The better question now will be.... does anybody even want to bring the guy in or has he ended his own career?

and people said Chilly has no control of team......lol:twitcy:
Uh, if Randy was told to not bother getting on the team flight, its one thing. If he willingly just said screw the Vikings, then yeah, he doesn't have the respect of his players, even if said player is Randy Moss. He doesn't have Favre's respect. He doesn't have Moss' respect, and his job as the coach is to put himself in a position of authority, which he has apparently failed to do.
Keep the front office intact, get rid of Chilly, promote Frazier to HC. There, problem solved.
This would only make too much sense, hence why it won't happen.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Childress is the type of coach who you need at the collegiate level. One who exercises total control over his team. Definitely doesn't take any crap from anybody. For example, he cut Marcus Robinson, who was the teams best TD receiver at the time, after he criticized Childress.

And then there's the fact that he's so hard set on play calling. You could tell that right before the half, the entire offense wanted to go and try to do something before halftime. Favre was shaking his head, Moss was holding up his arms as if to say "What the hell?!".

If you were to tell me that a team that had Brett Favre at QB, Randy Moss and Percy Harvin at WR, and Adrian Peterson at RB would be struggling on offense as it is right now, I wouldn't have believed you. Yet, that's where we are right now.

Moss was given permission to stay in Boston to visit family. I don't think this is a done deal yet.

Guessing the Jets or Colts would claim him before NE gets a shot.
If they have cap space.

No way he lasts that long IMO, hell the Bills may make a huge mistake again since they get first shot at him.

The Bills don't need Moss. He won't resign there anyway and they would be better off losing out so they can get the No. 1 pick and Andrew Luck.

This is part of the master plan, destroy the franchise, ticket sales drop.

The Vikings are coming to Los Angeles.

The Kings and Lakers have Purple as one of their primary colors. Vikings would fit
right in.

THIS
There was an article in Sunday's Minneapolis Start Tribune detailing veteran QBs frustration with him from Brad johnson to Gus Frerotte. One of them gave Chilly a nickname of "VK" (Veteran Killer)

There is no consistency in treatment of players: Birk, Favre, Robinson, Sharper, they were treated inconsistently.
