NFL: Moss waived by Vikings

Moss' condescending and disrespectful comments at the Vikings post-practice team dinner last Friday is what started the wheels in motion. His performance Sunday and his comments after the game sealed his fate. I still personally feel he is the 2nd best receiver all time in the NFL and could have been the best had he just shut his mouth. He'll land in the AFC West somewhere. Chargers have the first shot, but they just signed Vincent Jackson. Oakland might take him so the Chiefs can't, but there may be bad blood there still. Chiefs will take him for sure if he everyone ahead of them passes.

Well, Cassell DID have a good time with Moss a few years back...

Randy Moss has 13 years of reputation built up, including 7 previous years with the Vikings. Are you really trying to argue that the Vikings didn't know what they were getting, and the above incident wasn't a possibility?

Is Randy a d-bag? Absolutely. Is he a clubhouse cancer? No arguments there. Yet the Vikings ALREADY KNEW THAT and traded for him anyway.

I'll seriously never get why, with some people, only one party can ever be to blame.

I posted the word "Yup", a link to confirm a previous poster's comment that a Moss rant last Friday appears to have gotten the waiver action started, then I posted the words "What a jerk...", referring to said action that took place last Friday.

I'm pretty sure those four words I posted don't come anywhere near constituting an argument that the Vikings should have been surprised by Moss' behavior over the last few days.

I think it's rather clear Childress has been handed keys to a car he has no business driving. Childress should be driving a go-kart, not a premium luxury automobile.

At times, the steering wheel has complained. Now, one of the tires is pitching a fit. Granted, this tire hasn't exactly always remained fully inflated - but the tire has a case when the driver is constantly spinning it.

So instead of changing the driver or making the driver adjust, the driver just tosses off one of the wheels and tries to keep driving - without even consulting the manufacturer. Why? The driver doesn't want to continue hearing the squeaky wheel and the manufacturer finding out the problems with the car are generally not the parts - but in fact the driver.
